Instructions for use
- Before touching the Bactegrass gauze or the wound, wash your hands with soap and water and make sure they are completely dry.
- To reduce the risk of infection, wear a pair of gloves.
- Clean the skin around the wound and the affected area thoroughly. Use a cotton ball soaked in Betadine or alcohol.
- Place a cotton ball on the wound.
- Place the backgrass gauze over the cotton and then secure it with tape or duct tape.
- To remove, moisten the adhesive to loosen the stickiness and gently pull it off. Place the gauze and cotton pad in a surgical wastebasket for disposal.
- The product is packed after sterilization.
- Make sure to keep away from all sources of moisture.
- Both adults and children can use it safely.
- It is suggested to change the bandage frequently to aid the healing process.
- Not recommended for use on more than 10% of the body.
- Not recommended for use if the patient is allergic to chlorhexidine.
- Avoid use on the middle ear and eyes.
- Never use Backgrass gauze twice.
- Store the gauze completely out of the refrigerator and away from moisture.
- When applying the gauze, try to avoid excessive pressure.
- Store the product away from sunlight in a cool, dry place.
- Keep children out of reach of the product.
- To encourage surgical disposal and recycling, dispose of gauze in a surgical waste container.
